Philomena McGovern-O’Brien is a native of Co. Cavan and is now living in Co. Clare. She began singing and playing guitar at a very early age and has been a professional entertainer for many years. She has huge experience in the music business.
Having recorded three solo albums and two additional duet albums with her husband, Michael O’Brien, Philomena has made numerous television appearances and featured on a wide selection of radio shows.
Her work has taken her to the U.K., Spain and Portugal. She has performed for many years on board Holland-America Cruise Liners in the Mediterranean and in the Caribbean and has just enjoyed entertaining aboard the liner ‘Oosterdam’, where the headlining act was Sir Cliff Richard.
Philomena’s music embraces many styles from the Country Classics through Folk Pieces to Contemporary Songs. She has performed in Lourdes, in Medjugorje and has an extensive repertoire of songs and instrumental music for church ceremonies, i.e. weddings and funerals. Her voice is often described as being ‘like honey’, having depth, resonance, beauty and the sparkle of the true artiste.

Tríona Glynn is a native of Galway and has been playing piano since she was 7 years old, when she began her classical training. She played organ in church from the age of 14, and went on to gain her Teachers Diploma in piano (A.L.C.M.) from the London College of Music.
Tríona has played in Tops of the Town, for Druid Theatre, in An Taibhdhearc for traditional music shows, and has composed a piece for Galway Youth Theatre. She was Musical Director for Galway Renmore Pantomime for 15 years, and has accompanied productions for St Mary’s College, St. Joseph’s College, Coláiste na Coiribe and played at workshops for people with disabilities and health conditions.
She accompanies the Children’s Choir in Renmore. Currently, Tríona is accompanist to Philomena McGovern-O’Brien and provides harmony vocals for church ceremonies i.e (weddings and funerals) and private functions. She also plays keyboards and sings in the band 'Perfect Together', with her husband, Pat.
